By default, the remote site (or the local site map) appears in the left pane of the Site window and the local site appears in the right pane. You can switch these displays.
To set which panes the local and remote sites appear in:
1 | Choose Edit > Preferences and select the Site FTP category. |
2 | Do either of the following: |

Select Local Files from the Always Show menu, and then choose whether to display the local files in the right or left pane of the Site window. |
The local site will appear in the pane you have selected, and the remote site (or the site map) will appear in the opposite pane. When you choose this option, the local site files view is always shown in the Site window, even when you collapse the window to one pane. | |

To change the view area:
In the Site window, do one of the following:

Drag the bar that separates the panes to increase or decrease the view area of the right or left window pane. |

Use the scroll bars at the bottom of the panes to scroll the contents of the panes. |

In the site map, drag the arrow above a file to change the space between files. |
To collapse the Site window to one pane:
Click the small triangle button in the lower left of the Site window.
Note: The pane that remains visible is whichever pane you chose to always show in the Site FTP preferences dialog box.
